A tragic incident occurred involving a 32-year-old woman en route to perform cleaning services in Indiana, who was fatally shot after mistakenly arriving at the wrong residence.Maria Florinda Rios Perez de Velasquez, accompanied by her husband, intended to clean a house in Whitestown on November 5. According to her brother, Rudy Rios, while attempting to enter the home with keys, she was unexpectedly shot in the head. Rios recounted that she “fell into the arms of her husband” and succumbed there. Authorities revealed the homeowner fired from within, and the bullet penetrated the door, hitting de Velasquez.The family later learned their actual cleaning job was located behind the house they mistakenly approached. Whitestown police confirmed they responded to a report of a possible break-in, only to find de Velasquez deceased on the porch.
