Cyclist Rushed To Hospital After Being Hit By A Vehicle

Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) personnel rushed a man to the OKEU Hospital after a vehicle hit his bicycle. The incident occurred on Monday at Active Hill, La Clery, Castries, creating a traffic backlog. SLFS personnel learned of the accident at about 4:49 PM. Fire Service spokeswoman Stacy Joseph disclosed that the 20-year-old cyclist had fallen into a ditch after the vehicle hit. Joseph said the victim was stable when the emergency crew transported him to the hospital.
