Dallas College celebrated the opening of its Aerospace and Aviation Hangar on April 22 at Dallas Executive Airport. This facility will host the FAA Part 147-certified Aviation Maintenance Technology program, offering hands-on training and FAA-approved certificates in General Aviation, Airframe, and Powerplant maintenance. The inaugural cohort commenced on April 1. Chancellor Justin H. Lonon emphasized the college's commitment to enhancing workforce education, ensuring North Texas remains a hub for aerospace.
