De’Aaron Fox Traded To Spurs In Blockbuster 3-Team Deal

In a three-team deal, the former All-Star guard is joining the San Antonio Spurs, where he will team up with Victor Wembanyama, Chris Paul, and former teammate Harrison Barnes. The trade was first reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania.In return, the Kings are receiving Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine, Sidy Cissoko, three first-round picks, and three second-round picks.The Bulls are acquiring Sacramento’s Kevin Huerter, Zach Collins, Tre Jones, and a first-round pick.Kings guard Jordan McLaughlin has also been included in the trade and will be heading to San Antonio alongside Fox.Fox was the longest-tenured player on the Kings roster, having spent seven complete seasons with the team. His legacy includes ranking first in assists, first in steals, second in points, third in free throws, fourth in games played, and fourth in three-pointers made during the Sacramento era.The Kings look to continue their journey back to the postseason with a a two-time All-Star in their lineup.
