Deadly Two-Vehicle Collision, Including Semi-Truck, Closes I-71 in Ohio for Hours

By: Chloe Franklin MASON, Ohio — One person is dead after a crash that shut down all southbound lanes on I-71 for hours Thursday morning, Ohio State Highway Patrol said. All southbound lanes have reopened. The crash happened at approximately 1:40 a.m. and involved two vehicles, including a semi-truck, OSHP said. All southbound lanes were closed at Western Row Road and Innovation Way near Fields Ertel Rd.& The victim’s identity has not been released.& No other injuries have been reported at this time.
