Debutantes Celebrate At Annual Ball

Staff ReportThe Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Eta Gamma Omega Chapter’s 58th Annual Debutante Season concluded with its formal ball on a cozy October night, attended by hundreds of family and friends who came out to cheer on the 2024 Debutante Class.& A wonderful dinner and a suite of traditional and contemporary dances, along with greetings from Ball Chairman Jessica Soares, and Ball Vice Chairmen Latrice Madkins and Jasmine Piring Jones,& precluded the announcement of each of the twelve outstanding young ladies by Mistress of Ceremonies, Ashley Williams of CBS Channel 13.The 12 young ladies presented this year were: Crystal Brianna Broadnax, Pleasant Grove High School; Kaedyn Imani-Marie Brown, Christian Brothers High School; Kaleeah Love Bryant, Rosemont High School; Mya Reiko Gabrielli, Franklin High School; Chloe Prejean Hickey, Saint Francis Catholic High School; Kennedy Ryan Lindsay, Christian Brothers High School; Aminah Selahfai Lucero-Mattis, Christian Brothers High School;& Jada Chase Katherine Roberts, C. K. McClatchy High School; Ava Malia Stallworth, Franklin High School; Caelyn Raye Williams, John F.
