A recent social media video features a Black mother confronting a Chick-fil-A manager after a staff member misspelled her daughter’s name on the receipt, creating a resemblance to a racial slur. TikTok user Davon McCoy, known as @yoo_sarge, recounted how his daughters visited a Chick-fil-A in Las Vegas to order chicken nugget meals. When asked for their names, they provided "McCoy," but the receipt displayed "Nicca." Expressing disbelief, McCoy questioned the misinterpretation in the video’s caption and confirmed that his daughter had explicitly spelled their last name to the employee. The footage shows the incorrect name on both the food label and the receipt, along with clips of the mother confronting the staff. Although the general manager attempted to explain the error as a mistake, many viewers dismissed the justification as insincere.
