The community college, located in Deptford County, New Jersey, was established in 2019 when Rowan College of Gloucester County and Cumberland County College merged into one institution. Currently, Rowan College of South Jersey has a partnership with Rowan University that allows students from the community college to pursue their bachelor’s degree with Rowan University. Now, through a new transfer agreement with Delaware State University, these students will have the option to continue their undergraduate education at Delaware State University upon completing their associate’s degree.
