Dennery Faces La Clery In Tier 1 Eliminator Showdown!

One team will bid farewell to its title chances on October 20, in the Tier 1 Eliminator match of the Saint Lucia Semi Professional Football League (SPFL), where Dennery will face La Clery. The match will be the first of a doubleheader at the Dennery Playing Field. The men from the east will need the support of their “twelfth man” in the home crowd, as they face a tough test from their Castries-based opponents.  This encounter will be a classic case of an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. Dennery, third in the regular season, conceded the fewest goals in the league, allowing just three throughout their campaign.  On the other hand, La Clery boasted the most goals scored, 23, with three of their players ranking among the top 10 goal scorers. The competitiveness of this fixture was seen by the 1-1 draw between them during the league phase.
