Dennery Resident Succumbs After Hit And Run

A Dennery resident, identified by the police as Shankari, has died following an early Friday morning road incident. According to investigators, at about 2:00 am, Micoud Police Station officers responded to a report that a northbound vehicle had struck someone along the Mon Repos Highway and failed to stop. The officers reported finding Shankari, dressed in black and unresponsive, along the roadside. He appeared to be in his twenties.
