Diddy and Jay-Z Are Not “Friends” : Alex Spiro

In an interview with NBC News on Monday, Jay-Z’s attorney made a point of separating his client from Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming that there is “no friendship” between the two following their joint rape of a 13-year-old girl. In an on-camera interview with NBC News, the rapper’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, stated that “just because they knew each other, know each other, that doesn’t mean anything” and that “there is no friendship or longtime bond here.” Jay-Z with Beyonce and Blue Ivy Earlier this month, a civil lawsuit was filed accusing Jay-Z, whose actual name is Shawn Carter, of raping a 13-year-old girl during a New York afterparty for the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.
