DJ Envy Still Listed In Real Estate Fraud Case As Other Defendants Move For Dismissal

DJ Envy has promised to cooperate in testifying against Cesar Pina in his ongoing alleged real estate fraud case, but he’s still found his name listed as a defendant.According to court documents obtained by HipHopDX, Philip Guarino — the attorney for all but two of the defendants — filed a motion on Friday (January 26) for dismissal against all the defendants, except for The Breakfast Club co-host (real name Raashaun Casey) and one other defendant.Guarino claims that the parties he represents were never revealed to have committed any potential crimes.“Plaintiff’s claim for securities fraud should be dismissed as against all defendants,” read the memorandum of law, in part. “Plaintiffs fail to allege what defendants, if any, were parties to the contracts that were allegedly breached.”
