President Donald Trump recently acknowledged that he underwent an MRI at Walter Reed Medical Center during what was initially described as a routine physical exam, which he had also completed in April. He did not disclose the reason for the MRI, only mentioning its positive outcome.
“I got an MRI, it was perfect,” Trump stated to reporters on Air Force One en route to Japan, as reported by Politico.
The 79-year-old former president chose not to specify which area was scanned. MRIs are non-invasive and assist in diagnosing issues related to soft tissues, including organs and muscles.
He emphasized that the MRI results were publicly available, insisting, “Nobody has ever given you reports like I gave you...,” and claimed they were among the best reports for his age.
Social media reactions have been skeptical, with various commentators questioning the nature of the MRI given it’s not typically part of a standard check-up, raising eyebrows about transparency.
