The Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE), in partnership with various stakeholders, is excited to launch the Regional Schools Investment Competition. This initiative offers high school and first-year college students a vibrant learning opportunity, immersing them in the investment landscape and the complexities of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange. The goal is to foster money and capital market growth within the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) by nurturing a generation of knowledgeable investors.Participants will have the chance to engage directly with securities markets, enhancing their financial acumen and obtaining essential investment skills. The ECSE, along with its licensed broker-dealers and the Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission (ECSRC), focuses on empowering youth as future market contributors.Open to students from Grades 9-11 and first-year college attendees across the ECCU, the competition encompasses countries like Anguilla, Dominica, and St. Lucia. Each school can enter one group of four to six students, all competing for the prestigious title of Regional Champion. Launching with an Investment Education Webinar on October 2, the main competition runs from November 14-17.
