Eight Black Administrators Take on New Roles in Higher Education

Yohannis A. Job has been appointed vice president of enrollment management at historically Black Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. He most recently served as vice president and dean of enrollment management at historically Black Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, Texas. Job is a graduate of Huston-Tillotson University where he majored in business administration and marketing. He received a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Kendric Stewart has been appointed assistant vice president of institutional advancement at historically Black Dillard University in New Orleans. He previously served as executive director of alumni affairs at Southern University and A&M College, a historically Black university in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Stewart earned his bachelor’s degree in urban forestry, master’s degree in social sciences with a concentration in political science, and doctorate in urban forestry and national resources from Southern University and A&M College. Ashley Offutt has been promoted to director of the Student Opportunities and Achievement Resources program at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
