ESPN and ABC Will Have Licenses to Broadcast “Inside the NBA” in the Upcoming Season

It looks like Inside the NBA will have a home moving forward after a period of significant uncertainty. Joe Flint of The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday night that TNT will license Inside the NBA to broadcast on ESPN and ABC starting the next season. According to reports, the agreement is a component of a framework that would resolve the four-month legal battle between Warner Bros. Discovery and the NBA.
Flint wrote : “The accord gives Warner Bros. Discovery the ability to develop new shows with NBA content in the U.S. and abroad, and international NBA rights in parts of Northern Europe and Latin America excluding Mexico and Brazil,”
Since the 1990 season, when the network first televised NBA games, Inside the NBA has been available on TNT. Its panel, which includes former guard Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal, host Ernie Johnson, and Hall of Fame forward Charles Barkley.
