Former NFL star Robert Quinn has gotten himself into serious trouble. He crashed a truck and then tried to flee the accident scene for reasons best known to him. That’s wild! Now, I’m not one to judge, but seriously? You’re a former pro athlete, you should know better than to try and flee the scene of an accident. It’s not like people wouldn’t recognize you! It’s just plain irresponsible. Leaving the scene of an accident is illegal for a reason – it puts other people at risk and shows a total lack of regard for the law. I get it – accidents happen. But the right thing to do is to stay at the scene, check if everyone is okay, and call for help if needed. Running away like a coward just makes everything worse. According to a police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, the wreck happened at around 2 AM on January 10 in North Charleston, South Carolina.
