Federal Agents Detail Disturbing Plans By Two White Men To Overtake A Haitian Island And Enslave Survivors

Federal authorities divulged alarming details about a heinous plot originating in Texas, where two individuals purportedly intended to travel to a secluded Haitian island, annihilate all males, and abduct women and children for sexual exploitation. Gavin Rivers Weisenburg, 21, and Tanner Christopher Thomas, 20, were indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of conspiracy to murder, maim, or kidnap in a foreign land, as well as producing child pornography.The Justice Department revealed that the duo aimed to "form and lead an illegal expeditionary force to Gonâve Island" to fulfill their grotesque fantasies.Initiating their scheme in August 2024, they reportedly dedicated nearly a year strategizing the invasion.Prosecutors asserted they planned to acquire a sailboat, firearms, and ammunitions, engaging individuals from a homeless community in Washington, D.C., as mercenaries.Additionally, Weisenburg attended a fire academy while Thomas joined the U.S. Air Force, intending to enhance their combat proficiency.
