Fire Breaks Out In Castries Apartment Building

Emergency personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) headquarters in Castries and the Babonneau fire station rushed to the scene of an apartment building fire at Entrepot, Castries on Tuesday. The firefighters, who received a distress call at about 2:26 pm, found the building containing six apartments in flames. The fire consumed a single-bedroom apartment, destroying the unit and its contents. The fire also resulted in the partial destruction of a two-bedroom apartment. There were no reports of injuries.
