Trent Brown, the offensive tackle for the New England Patriots, was not pleased with the Baltimore Ravens’ decision to sign quarterback Malik Cunningham on Tuesday.Despite being a member of the New England Patriots practice squad, Malik Cunningham is clearly not your typical player based on the response to the Baltimore Ravens‘ Tuesday signing of him.Offensive tackle Trent Brown had, if not the most vehement response, at least from the Patriots organization. The 30-year-old lineman was quite upset with the team for letting Cunningham go, even as he congratulated him on his new opportunity. Brown wrote on Instagram story, “Go flourish where your talent is respected,”.Cunningham, a Louisville native and undrafted rookie, had enough promising preseason play to be a long-term fixture. Even when Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe were having trouble, the Patriots never looked to him despite his numerous appearances during the regular season. Any team could have signed him to the active roster like the Ravens did on Tuesday.
