Former Lawrence Central star leads Seton Hall past hometown Butler

Wednesday night in Milwaukee, Butler put together their best half of the season to take down the #11 ranked Golden Eagles. The effort in Wisconsin set up an extremely important contest in Hinkle at noon on Saturday as the Big East’s hottest team, the Seton Hall Pirates, stopped over in Indy to maintain their spot at the front of the conference race. This day was a homecoming for an Indianapolis kid.& Dre Davis’ Lawrence Central hoops career ended on March 3, 2020 with a loss in the opening round of the infamous Sectional 10.& A couple of weeks later COVID-19 would shut down the world.
