On Wednesday, November 13, NBA slam dunk champion Desmond Mason was imprisoned for contempt of court after he did not show up for a hearing during his ongoing divorce from his wife. In an attempt to distance himself from Andrea Mason, the former Oklahoma City Thunder player was arrested and taken into custody by law enforcement. He was later released from the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a $50,000 bail. Desmond Mason was charged with contempt of court for not showing up at the docks despite being told to do so, but it’s still unclear who is divorcing whom.
