FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The Fort Lauderdale Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has once again showcased its commitment to education by donating $11,000 to its endowed scholarship fund at Florida Memorial University (FMU), a prestigious historically Black college. This significant contribution raises the fund's total to over $25,000, bolstering support for Black male educators. During FMU’s 146th Founders’ Day Dinner, Chapter President Sylvia Sloane Jones made the presentation, while Interim President William McCormick expressed heartfelt appreciation for the scholarship's vital role in nurturing future educational leaders.
