From murals to graffiti, Lake Worth Beach is a feast for the eyes

The city of Lake Worth Beach has long drawn art lovers to its annual street painting festival, but artists have also covered the city’s buildings, bridges and fences with their work — some commissioned and professional in nature, and some from artists who favor spray cans and execute their work on the fly. City dwellers and tourists can easily view all of Lake Worth Beach’s outdoor art by car, bicycle or foot, including the Wingfield Street murals facing east between 12th Avenue South and 15th Avenue South, the Lake Avenue Bascule Bridge, and 2024’s new mural on the southern façade of The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County’s headquarters that was painted by county-based artist Craig McInnis.
