HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – In time for Women’s History Month, a new all-women art exhibition in Kakaako is showcasing work from more than 50 local and international women artists from different backgrounds and media. Hawaii artists Kate Wadsworth and Shar Tuiasoa joined HNN’s Sunrise Weekends to talk about Gangway Gallery’s EmpowerHER exhibition happening all month. Admission is free and open to everyone, with art work and prints available for purchase, ranging from $100 to a few thousand dollars to appeal to every art enthusiast. The public is invited to the opening reception on March 2, Saturday, 5-9 p.m. with music from 11-year-old DJ Chicken Jerky and refreshments from Honolulu Beer Works.
