Kelly Davis, the estranged spouse of former NFL linebacker Thomas Davis, was detained recently after allegedly assaulting her husband's purported mistress, Laura Watterson, at the chiropractor’s office. In a highly charged altercation reminiscent of a Tyler Perry drama, Kelly was removed from the premises following the incident.Laura Watterson, a chiropractor based in Charlotte, reportedly had an affair with Thomas, a former All-Pro player for the Carolina Panthers. Court papers indicate that Kelly attacked Watterson on August 26, suspecting her involvement with Thomas, who played for the Panthers from 2005 to 2018.An arrest warrant was executed on August 29, leading to Kelly's apprehension. Although Kelly acknowledges the confrontation, she defends her actions as self-defense, asserting that Watterson initiated the physical confrontation.
