During an appearance on the “For The Culture” podcast at Edward Waters University, Sanders shared insights on his transition from the University of South Carolina to Jackson State University in 2020.When asked about the unique aspects of HBCUs that could captivate recruits, Shilo humorously remarked, “Them HBCU women… You need to take recruits around campus.” This candid admission evoked laughter, reflecting his genuine experience upon joining JSU.
