Heartbroken Mother Pleads for Help Finding Son’s Body

A mother’s pain is reverberating across communities in Saint Lucia as Theresa John makes a heartfelt plea for help in finding the body of her son, Jahfari Joseph, who was murdered in New York.
Despite a suspect being charged for the crime, the remains of the 40-year-old Joseph, of Saint Lucian descent, have yet to be located.
He was last seen on December 29, 2024. Days later, on January 7, 2025, 61-year-old Timothy Timmons was charged but has not disclosed the location of the body.
In a video posted on Facebook, John has pleaded for assistance, asking anyone with information to come forward with information about the location of her son’s body.
Visibly grief-stricken, John, her voice trembling, pleaded: “It’s been 13 days since my son was murdered, and we still can’t find his body. I’m asking anyone who has information, please come forward.
“Whoever knows and doesn’t want to talk, you have a mother too and I’m sure you have a sister, you have a brother. Please, I’m begging you – come forward.”
