Help Burien’s Art Alley – come to the Mural Masters fundraising party this Saturday night, May 18 – The B-Town (Burien) Blog

All are invited to enjoy an evening in downtown Burien with a view of the Art Alley this Saturday night, May 18, 2024 with special guests Massive Monkees and Fever One behind the decks. This fundraiser party will be held from 6:30–11 p.m. at Humble Hall (map below). Mural Masters is an annual graffiti/street art festival held in Burien’s Art Alley since 2014. This year they will be hosting over 18 local and national/international artists to transform The Art Alley and some adjacent walls with stunning large-scale murals, spanning diverse styles and disciplines. Our mission is to cultivate inclusive community spaces, deter graffiti, and foster economic growth through the celebration of urban artistry. This year’s event’s objective is to celebrate diverse styles of large-scale urban art and honor the artists behind them. Through the application of art on buildings, we not only deter graffiti but also cultivate community, knowledge, and joy within Burien. Mural Masters serves as a catalyst for tourism and economic growth, embodying our commitment to inclusivity by spotlighting artists from communities of color, women, and the LGBTQ+ community.
