The retired pitcher beamed at the jubilant crowd, waving and blowing kisses in response to their cheers.This visit was Sosa’s first at the clubhouse since his last game on October 2, 2004, after which he left the Cubs amid a confession regarding performance-enhancing substances and was subsequently traded to the Baltimore Orioles. Now 56, Sosa concluded his career in 2007 with the Texas Rangers after missing the entire 2006 season.Recently, noticeable changes in Sosa’s appearance sparked discussions, as he appeared tanned, contrasting sharply with his previous, lighter complexion due to skin bleaching.
