Homegoing services for James Washington are set

James A. Washington, esteemed president and general manager of The Atlanta Voice and longtime advocate for the Black Press, passed away at 73. His legacy spans journalism, community service, and advocacy, leaving a profound impact on the media landscape. A viewing will be held on Tues., April 9, from 12-8pm at Murray Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. His funeral service will be held at Elizabeth Baptist Church on Wed. April 10, at 11am.
