In 2015, Ommi McCluney experienced a life-altering health crisis. In January 2020, her oxygen levels plummeted, leading to an emergency airlift from the Grand Canyon to Phoenix, where doctors candidly informed her that a double lung transplant was critical for survival. By April 2020, she joined the transplant list and, just five months later, received new lungs. Amid her medical journey, McCluney noted significant skin alterations linked to her condition and medications.
