Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville’s hometown theme and water park, will soon welcome guests back to Hurricane Bay for the 2024 season. Hurricane Bay opens Saturday, May 25, kicking off Kentucky Kingdom’s daily operations for the summer. Park-goers of all ages can cool off at Hurricane Bay by relaxing in a cabana, floating along the Castaway Creek lazy river, getting soaked in the Splash Zone, and embarking on exciting twists and turns on every water slide! The new season also includes first-of-its-kind special events, including the celebration of spring, summer, and color with Petal Palooza!
