Mark Zuckerberg has emerged as a controversial figure among longtime residents of Crescent Park in Palo Alto. The META chief executive, along with his spouse Priscilla Chan and their daughters, Maxima, August, and Aurelia, established their residence in this Northern California neighborhood back in 2011.According to The New York Times, Zuckerberg has acquired at least 11 additional properties neighboring their original home on Edgewood Drive and Hamilton Avenue, thereby forming an expansive estate. With an estimated net worth soaring to $270 billion, Zuckerberg's wealth is notable.His marriage faced scrutiny after he was spotted eyeing Jeff Bezos’s partner, Lauren Sánchez. Particularly, some online critics have targeted a prominent feature of his estate—a 7-foot statue of Chan revealed in August 2024, which Zuckerberg described as a nod to Roman traditions. Comments ranged from admiration for his intentions to ridicule of the statue’s aesthetic.
