The Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra (ICO) presents a fall-themed performance complete with seasonal music and treats for the whole family.
Autumn Sketches takes place one night only at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 23 at Butler University’s Schrott Center for the Arts. The program intends to provide a magical evening filled with the music stylings of Mozart, Vaughan Williams, Martin and Brazilian composer Villa-Lobos.&
Conducted by Matthew Kraemer, Autumn Sketches opens with Villa-Lobos’ Sinfonietta No. 1 “In Memory of Mozart.” & It continues with Vaughan Willam’s “Concerto for Oboe and Stings in a minor,” which will feature Leonid Sirotkin, principal oboe for the ICO and English Horn player for Des Moines Metro Opera Orchestra, as a featured soloist.

The second half of the performance will include Martin’s “Esquisse pour orchestra” and Mozart’s “Symphony No. 35, in D Major.”
