Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) executive director, Gregory L. Wilson Sr., received the Sagamore of Wabash Award, the governor’s highest honor.& The Sagamore of Wabash recognizes individuals who have devoted their time and service towards the state and its heritage. Wilson is recognized for his dedication to advancing civil rights in Indiana and his commitment to equal access and opportunity.& Prior to his role at ICRC, Wilson had a longstanding public service career, including community engagement and special assistant roles for Gov. Eric Holcomb. Wilson’s previous roles involved developing and growing relationships with local, state and federal officials, growing engagement efforts with community leaders and increasing collaboration with state agency representatives.& ICRC executive director, Gregory L.
