‘Do You Even Live Here?’: Florida Man Confronts Black Father and Toddler

A recent viral video captures a white individual confronting a Black man for no discernible reason. In the footage, Jeezy Diamond, a Black father, is seen with his toddler son, both waiting in the lobby of their upscale Miami residential building for an Uber to the airport for an early flight.Dressed in workout attire, the confrontational resident approached them, bypassing a cordial exchange to question their presence, alluding to a potential break-in. He even resorted to calling security.“It’s 4 AM, and my son and I have a 6 AM flight,” Diamond recounted. “A stranger asked if we lived here and demanded we leave!” As his toddler played nearby, the man called security on Diamond, who is a jewelry designer. In the ensuing altercation, he dismissed the man’s provocations, firmly instructing him to “shut up.” Diamond’s confident retort resonated with many, eliciting a wave of support online for his assertive stance in the face of unwarranted scrutiny.
