A Philadelphia resident, identifying himself as a member of the Proud Boys, has accepted guilt concerning charges linked to several violent, racially motivated threats against Black individuals. Notably, he confronted a Black female driver during a road rage incident.Mark Anthony Tucci, 44, was taken into custody in January and faced multiple charges in March. These included making threats involving a dangerous weapon and cyberstalking, as stated by the Department of Justice.Evidence revealed that Tucci sent a barrage of racist messages, slurs, and threats targeting a Philadelphia city employee. Progressively intensifying his harassment, he made repeated calls, screamed profanities, and disclosed personal information, insisting, “This is personal now.”Federal investigators uncovered alarming materials on Tucci's devices, including a manifesto associated with a mass shooter and a plethora of racist media. The targeted worker expressed fear for their safety, even resorting to carrying mace due to Tucci's threats. Tucci will face sentencing in December, potentially serving up to 21 years behind bars.
