Ranging from Oct. 15 to Nov. 1, the early voting period in Georgia saw a record number of participants during the first day in 2020 (136,000 votes cast), but that record was broken and more than doubled in 2024 with more than 300,000 votes cast on the first day. As of Sunday, Oct. 20, more than 1.3 million Georgians voted early. Knowing where your local polling place is and what you need to properly vote early or on Election Day, November 5, is important to the process of a fair election.
