Out-of-Town Jury to Deliberate on Charges Against Three Ex-Officers in Tyre Nichols' Death

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A judge has decided that a jury from outside Memphis will preside over the state court trial of three ex-police officers facing second-degree murder charges for Tyre Nichols' fatal beating following a 2023 traffic stop. Shelby County Judge James Jones Jr. did not disclose the jury's location.
