Juvenile Counselor Bayleigh Hoyt Charged Over Sending Nudes With A 17-year-old Boy in Custody

Bayleigh Hoyt, a 28-year-old woman employed as a juvenile counselor, is facing charges after allegedly sending nude photos to a 17-year-old boy she met while he was in custody. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office in Florida arrested Hoyt on Tuesday and charged her with official misconduct and distributing harmful materials. According to officials, Hoyt worked as a juvenile counselor at the Depke Juvenile Detention Facility in Vernon Hills when she met the teenager. After his discharge from the facility, Hoyt reportedly initiated wild adult communication with the boy and engaged in ” lewd conversations” with him. Additionally, she allegedly sent him a nude photo of herself and asked him to delete the messages. Authorities stated that shortly after the incident came to light, Hoyt resigned from her position at the juvenile facility. However, law enforcement had already become aware of the situation and issued a warrant for her arrest.
