The 3 biggest challenges facing District 6 are homelessness, public safety, and Stockton Blvd has needed revitalization ever since I’ve lived in Colonial Heights. We need to utilize vacant buildings and vacant lots that have not been used for years as safe ground sites, and housing. Our local government has had many years to address the issue of homelessness, and now we are officially in a crisis where billions of dollars has been thrown at a problem that has only gotten worse. How does that work? Sacramentans need to come together to fix this, or we’ll never get on top it.& What are your views on how to handle the homeless crisis? I am a big proponent of safe ground sites. The housing that’s been approved recently won’t be ready for months to years. Again, further failings of local government. What do we do in the meantime? We can’t keep sweeping people around.
