"U-Prep Students Thrive in Real-World Learning Beyond the Classroom"

Eighth-graders from University Prep Milliones explored healthcare careers on February 14 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, thanks to M-PowerHouse and McAuley Ministries. Students engaged with medical professionals, performing hands-on activities, including intubating man­neq­uins. This initiative aims to inspire Black students towards careers in health, enhancing future workforce diversity.
