Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center to honor moms at Center Table Mother’s Day food distribution event

Celebrating moms, bonus moms and mom figures, the Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center will host a Center Table Mother’s Day mobile food pantry event on May 7 from 9-11 a.m. at the center located on 1800 Bonnie View Road. As a thank you to all the hard-working mothers, bonus moms and mom figures juggling work, kids, home life and more, the purpose of the giveaway is to make sure these everyday heroes feel the love this Mother’s Day. Related Stories Free and open to the public, the event will provide food boxes for more than 500 families on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees can expect entertainment such as a live performance by Ollimpaxqui Ballet Co., swag bags and more. Five hundred flowers, arranged by Skyline High School students and funded by the Dallas Black Firefighters Association, will be gifted to moms. In addition, 41 lucky moms will be honored with special gift packages, which will include a head-to-toe salon takeover experience complete with a new outfit and photo shoot thanks to NU Standard and Meke The Salon at Southside on Lamar.
