Martin University Celebrates 56th Commencement, Recognizing Outstanding Community Leaders

Martin University celebrated its 56th commencement at noon on May 31 in the Father Boniface Hardin Gathertorium, honoring 26 undergraduates and 22 graduates across various disciplines, including Teacher’s Prep and Business Administration. President Sean Huddleston highlighted each graduate's inspiring journey. The ceremony included honorary doctorates for community leaders A'Lelia Bundles and Alan Henderson, both of whom have profoundly impacted their fields and Indianapolis society. Bundles, a Harvard and Columbia alumnus, honors Madam C.J. Walker’s legacy. Henderson, a former NBA player, is revitalizing communities through his entrepreneurial efforts.
