Marvel Gentry Harmon is ‘The Spirit of Madeira’

Contributed      The Madeira Chamber of Commerce conferred “The Spirit of Madeira” award upon Marvel Gentry Harmon at its recent year end event on December 12, 2024, at The Kenwood Country Club.  Marvel is the Publisher of MADEIRA NEIGHBORS Magazine and INDIAN HILL NEIGHBORS Magazine, and has been a Chamber member since July, 2023.  She is very involved in the Madeira community, ever present at Madeira Chamber and City of Madeira community events, constantly working to connect the neighbors of Madeira through the magazine and her social media, and referring high quality vendors and suppliers who sponsor the magazine to the neighbors in the community.  & & The “Spirit of Madeira” Award was created in 2022 to recognize Madeira business owners who demonstrate a love for the community and a passion to engage their business with community members and the Madeira Chamber of Commerce. & The first recipient was Alison Tepe-Guy, owner of Ali’s Bar & Grill.& Jon Flood, owner of Brown Dog Films was the 2023 recipient.& & & & & & Madeira Chamber Executive Director David Peterson explains, “We have really enjoyed giving out the Spirit of Madeira award these last few years, because every year there is someone...
