Mayor, Council recognize service of Planning Commission Chair

Stallworth was appointed to the Planning Commission in 2014, serving as Vice Chair from 2017-2020 and Chair from 2020-2024.As a member of the Planning Commission, Stallworth participated in the approval of several projects that significantly impacted the lives of Cincinnatians, including TQL Stadium, the Medpace campus, the nationally-renowned BLINK festival, as well as the City’s recent Connected Communities legislation.Other notable projects in Cincinnati led and contributed-to by Stallworth have included:The launch of the African American Cultural Resource Center (University of Cincinnati, President of the United Black Association) Major campaigns through Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, including Adopt a Block, Adopt a Highway, “Don’t trash the ‘Nati”, and Glad-Bag-A-Thon Leadership as Director of Government Affairs and Education Sales for the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center project, an $80 million construction project with 42% M/WBE spend Service as Foundation President and founder of the Fathers Group for North Avondale Montessori City of Cincinnati Charter Review Task Force, 2015 Service as Vice Chair of the Green Umbrella Board of Trustees, 2015-2023As Founder/CEO of Inclusion Building Solutions, Byron is a recognized subject matter expert...
