Meharry set to host free dental and medical exams June 15

NASHVILLE, TN — Meharry Medical College, located at 1005 Dr. D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard, is hosting a free dental and medical exam event on June 15. Doors open and registration begins at 7 a.m. Residents (adults and children) of Davidson County and children attending Metro Nashville Public Schools are eligible for this free service.
The event is focused on providing essential healthcare services to the community, including dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, physicals, BMI checks, diet counseling, and smoking cessation.
This initiative is part of Meharry’s commitment to improving health outcomes in Tennessee, where there has been a noted rise in uninsured residents. Community-focused events like this are crucial for fostering a healthier and more equitable society.
