“The immense scale of this film demanded ten talented actors to bring the Jackson 5 to life throughout their journey,” said producer Graham King. “I’m excited to share this extraordinary ensemble with audiences worldwide.”
Jaafar Jackson, Jermaine’s son, will portray his uncle Michael in the film, while Juliano Krue Valdi takes on the role of the younger Michael. The new cast joins previously announced actors Nia Long, Colman Domingo, and Miles Teller. John Logan penned the script, with King, John Branca, and John McClain (co-executors of the Michael Jackson estate) serving as producers.
