The Dallas Cowboys haven’t made it to the NFC Championship Game, much less the Super Bowl, in 29 years. Reaching another one seems more elusive than ever since the team hired Brian Schottenheimer as head coach. Cowboys icon Michael Irvin conveyed that view in his first public remarks on the subject since Schottenheimer was named the team’s new head coach yesterday night. Irvin bemoaned in a 19-minute video on his YouTube channel that the Cowboys’ lack of genuine postseason success has prevented many Cowboys supporters from appreciating the team’s heyday.
